The foundation has tabbed its next senior v.p. and managing director of investments as its investment head retired on May 31 after nearly 24 years in the role.
Gerry Watson has worked at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund for nearly 30 years, and is responsible for the oversight of its approximately $1.3 billion endowment, accounting, technology and operations functions as well as the Rockefeller Family Fund, the David Rockefeller Fund and several of the fund’s affiliates.
The new hire is being integrated into the firm’s collateralized loan obligation platform alongside Managing Director and Portfolio Manager William Lemberg, who will be retiring in the spring of 2025.
The university has elected six new members to its board of trustees, including four with investment experience, to help guide its educational mission and fiscal policies.
