A Texas-based housing authority is hunting for investment advisory services.
The pension plan heard presentations from six managers at last month’s board meeting.
The plan concluded a search both launched in 2021 and delayed since last year.
Thomas Harris stepped down from his role as ceo and cio of the University of Texas/Texas A&M University Investment Management Company on June 30 and was named acting ceo of the Texas Permanent School Fund Corporation, effective July 5, as a search for a permanent ceo commences.
The plan will hire one additional firm in its multi-credit asset class search.
The fund closes with over $760 million in assets.

The selected firm will provide investment consulting services for a $140 million trust.
