The university hired a private equity firm as its discretionary advisor last year, outsourcing the management of its endowment.
The selected firm will also be expected to provide investment services related to record keeping and administration.
The university is searching for an outsourced cio provider for its endowment and operating fund portfolios as it is in the process of finalizing a new investment policy statement.
The plans are seeking an investment consultant to monitor investments, conduct annual due diligence meetings with investment managers, provide quarterly reports and annual reviews.
The pension plan expects to commence the contract on Nov. 19.
The plan will see its incumbent’s contract expire on Dec. 31.
The firm will also provide services for the district’s 401(a) plan.
The city last conducted a similar search in 2019.
The plan’s internal investment team is also expected to join the firm this year.
The community foundation has hired a discretionary advisor to manage its portfolio following an RFP process.
