River and Mercantile has hired a group head of ESG to implement and oversee the group’s ESG philosophy and core principles across its various investment divisions.
The executive director will retire after eight years with the plan.
The new hire was previously a principal at Meketa.
She will engage with and grow AIMA’s membership in the U.S., the association said.
He will serve as a managing director in the alternatives product development group.
He will expand and deepen relationships with investors, a spokesman said.
Plan has filled its executive director position on an interim basis after it opened up last month.
Two new members have joined the plan’s investment team following recent departures.
