A foundation in the South has added a new cio and cfo in recent months.
A foundation based in New York hired an investment analyst to assist in the management of its portfolio in the fourth quarter following a search for the position conducted last year.
He will oversee the New York-based firm’s U.S. investment activities, including sourcing, underwriting and execution of transactions.
He will lead portfolio management for the firm’s retail municipal bond separately managed account strategies.
The firm expects to announce a successor “in due course.”
The hire follows the retirement of a long-time investment team member.
He will work with the Systematic team to articulate investment strategies and share investment information.
The firm’s founder and co-cio is assuming a new role as vice chairman.
She will expand the firm’s life science asset management function in the U.S.
