kPlans Founder Steve Sansone will join SageView as a managing director, the firm said.
The firm’s Co-CIO will become Co-CIO following the founder’s departure.
The new hires include a managing director, a senior v.p. and a v.p.
Former portfolio manager will reunite with the plan’s former deputy cio in the new position.
Investment officer will source, research and conduct due diligence on private equity investments for the plan.
Plan’s investment committee was scheduled to interview four firms in the search for an up to $60 million allocation.
Plan will expand its team with the addition of two senior investment officers to focus on private markets and an investment officer to assist in managing its public market portfolios.
The transaction closed on June 8, and its proceeds will be reinvested into Gramercy’s strategies.
Plan promoted its deputy cio to replace Robert Clark, who submitted his intent to resign in April.
He will focus on continuing to grow the firm’s European corporate credit investment platform.
